Judy Ling Wong CBE is the Vice-Chair of UNESCO UK MAB (Man and the Biosphere) Urban Forum. She is also the lead for the forum’s Art of Nature Initiative. Judy is a painter, poet and environmental activist. Judy is a major voice on social inclusion with many honours for her outstanding contribution. She is the Vice-Chair of DEFRA’s Civil Society Partnership Network Core Group, a member of IUCN/WCPA’s Urban Specialist Group, and the Steering Group of the campaign to make London the first National Park City. Judy has worked extensively in various sectors – in the arts, in psychotherapy and in community engagement. This multiple background means that she is uniquely place to take forward the development of an integrated approach to environmental participation, bringing together different fields and sharing cultural visions.
