Network Ecologies is a community of environmentally concerned artists, scientists & activists, who share a willingness to collaborate in order to further environmental discourse in the public sphere. The community originates from the inaugural Network Ecologies symposium, which took place at the University of Hull, Scarborough, in June 2015. From this initial event, membership continues to grow with additional symposia planned for the future.

Network Ecologies acknowledges the need for interdisciplinary research outputs, which reflects the diversity of the cohort. As such, Network Ecologies functions as a loosely defined collective, which collaborates for the purposes of hosting group exhibitions, publications or other relational activities. This website is therefore an online repository, which seeks to profile the research of the Network Ecologies membership and provide information about forthcoming events.
